Bid Info:   Western Nebraska Veterans Home –Skilled Dining Expansion will be received at the Western Nebraska Veterans Home located at 1102 W 42nd St, Scottsbluff, NE 69361 until 2:00 P.M. (Mountain Standard Time) on May 30, 2017 and will then be publicly opened and read aloud.

Public Notes:
Project Summary: A single level, frame building addition supported by shallow footings with a slab-on-grade floor is proposed. The building addition will cover 1,055 square feet of plan area and will not have any basemented areas. The new floor level will match the existing finished floor level of 92.35 feet. Exterior surface grading will be completed to cause surface water to flow away from all sides of the building below the level of the finished floor slab. The single level building will cover an area of about 29 by 37 feet and will be rather lightly loaded with estimated wall loads up to 4 kips per lineal foot. The floor is expected to support less than 50 pounds per square foot.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 1822 N. Street, Lincoln, NE 68508 (402)474-5454 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $50.00 payable to Nebraska Building Division.

Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained; no partial set orders will be issued.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $20.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

The deposit will be returned to the contractor / subcontractor upon return of the plans, specifications and addenda in good condition within thirty (30) days after the bid opening date. Plans are to be returned to A&D Technical Supply.
